A never finished tower

Oostoever is designed in 1961 by Dick Slebos. People refer to it as the Slebos ship. You can see why. The resemblance however, is just a 'happy little' accident. The city Amsterdam actually wanted to built a big tower (100 meter high), but the tower was never finished, because there was no money. Evidence is a lift-shaft in the northern pillar under the terrace.
